This is an excellent article Justin. As a minarchist I agree with your words about the practical relationship between miniarchist Libertarians and Anarchists (Anarcho-capitalists). For my part, I am wide open to convincing about anarchism. So far, the arguments I've heard don't add up. I agree completely with Rothbard that the state is the enemy of people and our freedom. But I can't help believing that given an absence of government, some power hungry person will fill the power vacuum.
Yes, and part of the reason I believe that anarchists and Minarchists must be natural allies, is because only in balance can they act as a true check and balance against each other. Much of anarchy is simply theory, that hasn't been applied in the contemporary world, but the few examples of success we DO have, are all practiced on small scale.
