This is the Sixth installment of the “Selling Liberty” series, check out the introduction for free:
The 7 Skills of Success
Apart from adopting certain personality traits and embracing good conversational tactics, there are certain skills that the best salespeople have mastered in every facet of their professions and lives. These skills are things that anyone can work to incorporate into their daily lives and their professional relationships, and build off the conversational skills we discussed when we first began.
These skills will complement your newfound conversational skills, and allow you to extend your control of social and political situations even further. The ability to be comfortable in any manner of conversation, debate, argument, or interaction, will be crucial in your journey to becoming the best salesperson you can be. But as shown by the theme of our previous lessons, the key to any sales success is a foundation in communications.
You can’t make any sale until you’ve demonstrated value to your prospect. Only then will they trust you enough to tell you their problems, and buy into your solutions for them. So let’s take a deeper look at the communication skills of success, that will bring our sales games to the next level.
